Hi everyone we're trying to upload the pic's we took. Strike9 is not coming up, it says that the server is busy. I've tried to load them from our family site but am having trouble. If anyone knows of another site to upload from we would appreciate some advice. Thanks and sorry for not being more prepared with the pic's.

Hey Everyone! Tink and I attended our first apostate meetup here in Tn. It was absolutely great. It is alot better to actually talk face to face with those you only imagine what they may be like in person. We had about 13 or 14 show up at Starbucks on Edmonson Pike. Bill Bowen rode down from Ky on his motorcycle with his young son. Joe and Barbara Anderson where also there. WorldlyGirl, Noidea her daughter and niece, recoveringexjw, Myself and her husband, and a few who have not yet been to JW.Com. We got here about 4:45 and Bill and Noidea where there already. By 5:30 everyone was there. Bill shared alot of things with us as to what he has been doing recently with Silentlambs. I would rather Bill tell you all so as not to miss anything. It was great meeting Barbara and Joe. She is very sweet and Joe is a very loving and kind man. Tink took a bunch of Pic's and when she gets up later she'll post them. Barbara and Bill shared alot of things with us concerning how the Pedophile Scandal evolved. Barbara also had told us alot about the inner workings of the WTS and alot of history. I am so overwhelmed from taking in all this info that my brain is like jelly..LOL. I'll be able to share more when I've had a few cups of Java. We stayed till about 9:00. Bill had left around 8:00 as he had a 140 mile commute back to his home in Ky. Tink and I were invited to visit at Worldly girls home afterwards and met her husband and a friend. She is such a sweet girl and her husband is a very nice guy. Thank you for your hospitality WG. You have gone through alot in your life, thank you for sharing it with Tink and I.
Bill,Barbara and Joe, Myself, Noidea, Recoveringexjw,Tim, John and his wife, it was fantastic to meet you all. Bill, Thanks so much for taking the time to drive to Tn. to meet with us. Barbara and Joe also had a long drive. Thanks so much to everyone! I hope I didn't leave anyone out. It was Great! Look forward to the next one.

well, i guess u can say that i've dodged the proverbial bullet.
now only if i could've dodged that damn rim yesterday!.
yesterday at work a tire and rim application that i had been workin on came apart under about 60 lbs of pressure and smacked me right in the face.
BigBoi...Sorry to hear of your accident and injury, but glad it was not worse. Please take care and accept my wishes of a successful recovery.

in reply to your posts below, i thought a new post is merited.
it is really outstanding the transformation of persons who were associated with jws from neutral subjects to outright warmongers, especially those who used to profess brotherhood with christ.
while everyone is entitled to their opinions on matters of world politics, but to foster and promote bloodshed and destruction in the name of peace and pre-emptive defense runs jarringly against the grain of anything called christian.. .
ThiChi, that was a good post. while reading Celtics remarks prior to your post, I was thinking along the same lines. The governments do not devulge alot of details or evidence to the public because it is sensitive information (or at least try not to). The Intelligence that is gathered during times like this has to be handled by the government structure. Celtic, don't worry, when the strike against Iraq happens, you can rest assured that there was ample evidence. Saddam is also a major suspect in aiding Bin Ladens group of thugs. His removal will be the first major step to crushing any idea they have for a large scale terrorist attack against the US and Britain. Saddam and others like him will be picked off, one by one. Remember SEPT. 11TH. Least we ever forget.
As far as Defenders comments are concerned, I do not think any of us are "War Mongers". We simple want the threat of vile terrorists to be diminished or obliterated. Unfortunately the only way to do this is for someone to step up to the plate and take the lead, and this means the use of force. Hiltler rose up and was defeated. Saddam however is only one of many, thats why the warning was issued to the general world that this campaign was going to be a long one, but well worth the effort.

last night, i returned from the chess club with my son to find my wife on the phone.
apparently the congregation secretary had phoned to get our time.
not wanting to disappoint him, she put us both down for two hours.. now, none of us have stepped foot in a kingdom hall since april 10, and we haven't been out in service since march/01.
RunningMan, They did the same thing with me too. There was a long period I had missed meetings, I think the only one I attended was the memorial in over a years time, but every month they would call and ask what time I had. Always 3 or 4 hours. Looking back at it, I should have said 90....LOL. This was back north with my previous life. My wife at the time was a regular pioneer and I just was tired of the rigorous schedule. Six months will pass quickly.

Hi mulan, what a beautiful women sharon was. I never had a chance to read her story but would love to one day. If you get a chance to direct me to it I would like to read it. I know that anniversaries of the loss of a family member or close friend are hard, especially the first one. None are ever easy, but time does make it more tolerrable. Please know that you are in Tink and my thoughts.
